Product Description
Display your Filipino heritage with this Philippine Half Sun Vinyl Decal featuring a partial Eight-rayed Sun inspired by the national flag of the Philippines. The design features the upper half of the Philippine Sun with a solid semicircular center and radiating rays. This distinctive Filipino Pride symbol is suitable for cars, trucks, SUVs, RVs, trailers, windows, doors and other smooth surfaces.
PHILIPPINE SUN SYMBOLISM
The Eight-rayed Sun, also known as the Philippine Sun, is an important emblem of Philippine independence, freedom and national identity. The Eight Rays commemorate the eight provinces associated with the beginning of the Philippine Revolution against Spanish colonial rule: Manila, Cavite, Bulacan, Pampanga, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Laguna and Batangas. This half sun design is a stylized representation of that recognizable Filipino heritage symbol.
FILIPINO PRIDE & HERITAGE
This Philippine flag-inspired half sun design is ideal for Filipinos, Filipino Americans, Pinoys, Pinays and anyone wishing to display their connection to the Philippines. The Philippine Half Sun is suitable for Philippine Independence Day celebrations, Filipino cultural events, heritage displays, community gatherings or everyday vehicle decoration. Its distinctive sunburst design provides a recognizable expression of Filipino Pride.
HALF SUN DESIGN
Unlike the complete circular Philippine Sun emblem, this version features a semicircular sun with rays extending upward and outward from a straight horizontal base. The wide, low-profile design is especially suitable for rear vehicle windows, truck windows, tailgates, body panels and other horizontal display areas. It can also be positioned along the bottom edge of a window or other smooth surface.
